Consistent Expansion of the Production Site

“The market is booming. We need the production infrastructure on-site to continue to provide our customers with the quick service and high product availability that they have come to expect,” says Philipp Hauser, CEO of groninger USA LLC.

After putting multiple CNC milling systems in place during recent years, groninger is now expanding its capabilities further. With the procurement of new systems, the investment volume has reached millions of US dollars alone for the expansion of the production infrastructure.

“North America is one of our most important markets,” confirms managing partner, Jens Groninger. Along with a large increase in the number of CNC machine tools, the site's number of employees has also increased significantly in recent years. “Today we employ more than 90 people in Charlotte, almost 50 percent more than two years ago,” says Groninger, summarizing the site’s growth.

Since 1997, groninger has had its own branch in the United States, first in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and later in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is where groninger USA put its current location into operation in 2012.
