groninger at Interphex in New York
Debut in the USA: groninger will be presenting a new, gloveless system for aseptic processing for the first time to an American audience at Interphex in New York at Booth #1408: the robocell.
Through this system concept, the pharmaceutical process has been reimagined - explicitly taking into account all regulatory and official requirements of the industry. The result: a machine concept that makes intelligent use of robotic solutions. And it does so whenever it makes the pharmaceutical process safer, more efficient and more flexible. "We have shifted the entire process know-how away from the operating personnel and towards the system or the robots used," explains Dirk Schuster, Vice-President of Pharma Sales. He adds, “We are sure that this system will also delight our customers in North America, one of the most important markets for groninger."
The revolutionary machine concept, which has already convinced several well-known pharmaceutical companies of its advantages, was already introduced to the European market last year - and was directly awarded the "Robotics Application of the Year" award by ISPE, the world's largest non-profit organization in the pharmaceutical industry.
The robots used, which were developed in-house by groninger, operate without format parts and enable a software-based format change in just a few minutes. This significantly increases process reliability, as human intervention is no longer necessary.
With the launch of the robocell in the US market, groninger is once again underscoring its leading position in the industry. "This award-winning high-tech line stands for safety, flexibility and progress. We are pleased to now be able to present this line to an interested clientele in North America," says Philipp Hauser, CEO of groninger USA.
Completing groninger's Interphex presence is the labworx portfolio, a semi-automatic machine series for processing small volumes of pharmaceutical liquids. "We are using it to show our wide range of processing options for pharmaceutical products that we can perform on groninger systems," explains Schuster.
The labworx series uses the same technology, processing methods and components as the high-speed systems from groninger. Important findings and data obtained during processing on the labworx lines can be quickly and easily scaled up to larger filling volumes and lines. A real added value for pharmacists.
